The Cambridge Audio NP30 allows you to play any music within your (wireless) home network on your music system via the UPnP protocol. Popular file formats such as mp3, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, WMA, AIFF (up to 16-bit/48kHz), FLAC (up to 24-bit/96kHz) and WAV (up to 24-bit/96kHz) are automatically recognized by the NP30 and played back in the highest possible sound quality. But Internet radio and music services such as Rhapsody and Pandora (both not yet available in the Netherlands) are also available via the Cambridge Audio NP30 at the touch of a button. Cambridge Audio’s proprietary UuVol Internet radio application gives you instant access to as many as 20,000 Internet radio stations selected for sound quality. The USB-1.1 (FAT32) connection on the front panel also allows playback of music files on a memory stick. The sensitive conversion of digital data to music is handled by the very high-quality Wolfson WM8728 DAC.
